Butter Pecan Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 2 c half and half
  • 2 c heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 c pecans
  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
Directions
  • Melt butter and toss/cook pecans until toasted through
  • Mix half and half and sugar
  • Gently stir in heavy cream and vanilla
  • Pour into ice cream maker and churn
  • With 5 minutes left, add pecans
*Adaptions
  • Once pecans are cooked, let dry and then coat them in chocolate (melt 1 c chocolate chips with 1 tsp coconut oil)
  • Add a fudge swirl with 2 minutes of churning left
